The land of Green Gables Heritage Place in Prince Edward Island, Canada is steeped in history, magic and folklore. It was here where a young girl, Anne Shirley, (Fictional character from L.M. Montgomery) lived, Also the inspiration for the books.

I was intrigued to visit this place and relive the memories of a timeless classic, Anne of Green Gables since I read it in high School.

I initially rode 3 days from Montreal to PEI. As I rode my motorcycle down the winding roads of PEI, I was greeted by the lush green forests and rolling hills.

The air was crisp and fresh, and the sun was shining down upon me. This Island got a " Je ne sais quoi", and it was as if I was being pulled in by its magic.

When I arrived at Green Gables Heritage Place, I started by visitor center

I was immediately transported back in time. The house and surroundings looked exactly as described the book and in the TV series. I wandered through the gardens for a few minutes.

I walked through the magical forest, and I was transported to a world of mystery and enchantment. I Walked the trails for a few Kilometer and it really wort it reading the sign with story. The trees were tall, and the sun shone down through the branches. I could hear the sound of the birds singing, and the other visitor.

The, As I entered the house, I was struck by the Friendly staff, and they made me feel right at home sort of speech. It was a Great Gilded tour, of the two stories house. while visiting the Kitchen learned that Anne Shirley's favorite drink was raspberry cordial.

Then I decided to stop by the restaurant to get a Beaver Tail and a raspberry cordial. The raspberry cordial was good and refreshing especially after all that walking.

Finally, I visited the store, and I was in awe of the beautiful and unique items that were for sale. The store was filled with souvenirs and gifts.

In conclusion, my visit to Green Gables Heritage Place was a journey through time. I was able to relive the memories of a timeless classic and connect with the magic and folklore of the land. I will never forget my visit to Green Gables Heritage Place, and the warm hospitality of the staff. After all that I jump on my HOG and I head up back to the motel in cavendish, drifting around, taking the long way back.
